We have eaten here a few times. The food is excellent, you might wait a little while but the food is Freshly cooked and piping hot. The girls are lovely and friendly. This weekend we had them cater for our Golden Wedding party at home. What can I say - it was all so gorgeous and fresh. Everyone commented on the food - especially the cakes - all three of them. Wow were they good. The chocolate orange one last all of 5 minutes and I had to cut some slices for us to have later very quickly. Thank you so much. Highly recommended

It is very rare to find a place that serves homemade cake using homely portions... we could not have asked for more! The cake/brownie was delicious! Modern but comfortable decor and seating... We will definitely be regulars! Thank you for your great service too! I actually ended up staying longer to conduct a telephone interview... did not want to leave :)

I should have taken photos of our "medium" breakfast's this morning. They were delicious. Sue (proprietor) is actively seeking to invite more customers to "come back again" to their local cafe. I can thoroughly recommend you visit sometime, if only for a quick cuppa and cake!

Nice little cafe. Very simple, no frills but is comfortable and friendly. Cyclist friendly. Very good value, £10 for small breakfast and a coffee. The better of the two cafes in Eccleshall imo.

Went for dinner today, first time since the new owners took over. Both meals were well cooked and stayed warm from start to finish, staff engaged in conversation with us which you don't get everywhere, we will definitely be going back again.

Five of us visited on Sunday morning. Great choice of breakfast items, we all enjoyed our choices. Decent coffee, and lovely friendly service. Really great value compared to the other local offering. Good honest food. Will definitely return.

Our first visit to the Country Kitchen. Great cafe - great choice of food - nothing fancy - just simple home cooked dishes all reasonably priced - lovely lady who served us and apologised for the toaster not been plugged in - so my scrambled eggs on toast was slightly delayed - !!! My husband commented on how lovely the coffee was and my tea was very nice too. Didn’t try the homemade cakes - despite them all looking delicious - Maybe on our next visit.
